| Yes, it is normal to stall. Don't dispair. But a stall is usually more than a few days of not losing weight. Also, did you take your measurements? It is easy to think that by looking in the mirror that you haven't changed, but HELLO did you just wake up ONE day and say... "OH GOD IM FAT"? No you didn't see the fat, it crept up on you. You see yourself everyday. So the weight loss will be gradual...and hard to see.. just like the gain was. Best take some before, during pictures and measurements to keep track of how you look and measure the inch loss. Weight loss isn't only measured by lbs. 20 lbs is awsome!! Be happy with that. Stay on track and if you find that you are not losing anymore you might want to go onto the next step. OWL..how much do you weigh and how much is your goal. That is also a factor on loss. The more you have to lose seems like the faster you will lose it. Don't beat yourself up. |

| That's not a stall. Don't expect to lose every day. Some days you'll even gain. Weight less often if this discourages you, maybe once a week or so. Here's something you should read: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ot-linear.html (Weight loss is not linear)

I believe that the best way to overcome temptation is not with willpower, which is so often in short supply, but with our brain power, a potentially unlimited resource. Imagine that you're doing great, losing weight, feeling better than ever, thrilled with yourself, hearing compliments from friends and acquaintances---and then it happens! Despite all your good intentions, you're mightily tempted by a food you're not supposed to have. What to do? I'll tell you this: You'd better have a strategy ready!" | Definitely normal during the 3rd and 4th week. Been there done that! 20 lbs is a LOT to lose in 2 weeks, so I'm sure your body is slowing down a little bit as it starts to lose fat rather than water weight. Keep up the good work! |

| I am fairly new as well. I did not lose much at all until I started exercising on a regular basis. I have been a consistent 5lbs a week after the first week of exercising. take it from me if you are not exercising, start TODAY. It will jump start you. Good luck.
