Here is how I eat flax for breakfast, grind two TBSP seed in grinder (or use preground) add a generous shake of cinnamon, half scoop protein powder and then mix in a generous TBSP of soft butter. (Melt the butter if you need to.) Microwave 1 minute, no longer, or it can scorch. Place the bowl in the freezer for a little while, then eat with cream. It is not a large amount but is amazingly filling.

Oh sorry, you can cook it in a little water in the microwave if you don't have protein powder, but it does tend to be slimy. Just mix ground seed, cinnamon, and a little water, nuke for a minute.

I use 'triple whey' protein from the health food store, vanilla flavor. It is expensive but a large can lasts me a couple of months.

For induction, whey protein powder is not strictly 'legal', as it is a milk product.

Good point.. I forgot about that, since induction was past a while ago. Sorry about that.

1 minute muffins are not allowed on induction as you are only allowed 2 tablespoons on induction. The recipe calls for half a cup of flaxseed
