| I have found that water helps relieve the sodium bloat. Sodium is hygroscopic (water attracting) and as you drink water, the salt goes out with it. So, water does help.

| Lately I've been drinking around 200 oz per day. This allows me to eat close to 2000 mg of sodium without retaining water (or at least not too much). But before this, when I used to drink max. 100 oz per day, I was gaining weight whenever eating more than 1500 mg. So yes, water does help up to a point. In any case, it's better to gain some water weight than to cheat.
