| I've done the same thing, Tim. I was on Atkins for a couple of months before I got on a scale. Gotta love that baggy clothes feeling!!! I have only weighed myself once and have promised to not weigh myself more than every two weeks, just to make sure I am headed in the right direction. I just don't want to give a number on a scale that much power over my life and possibly discourage me. |

| That is amazing!! I have been on induction for 3 days and I am running out of food ideas and I can see I am going to be getting really bored soon...Your 36 days is a good motivation |

The other four eggs ended up being made into egg mayonnaise which I had at lunch time with salad and smoked mackrel. I really enjoyed that as well as I'd not had the fish for a long time. I'm having a meat platter (turkey, beef & pork) with a garlic butter & cream sauce with salad this evening. My snack will be sliced Haloummi cheese which I fry - it goes crispy and is the nearest thing to crisps without the carbs. I'm trying to find a recipe for Bernaise Sauce? Any responses would be appreciated! I'm away to drink more water and try and get rid of my withdrawal from carbs and sugar headache!! Best wishes from Marion |

| 36 days on induction. Thats great. I would like to stay on induction for at least a month. I know what you mean about the scale. I am obsessed with it too and keep getting discouraged because I am not seeing any results so I am trying really hard now not to step on it. As fellow atkineers have called it "its evil"! Have you tried exercise at all yet? It also makes a huge difference. Keep up the good work and good luck! Just hollar if you need any extra support. Quote:

| Again, great job Tim! I'm really amazed that you are able to go without checking the scale. Unfortuantely, I got into that habit and now I neurotically check the weight every day. I know it's not good... but I so hard not to check. Of course when the weight goes up, I flip out. |

| Wow, way to go. I wish I had your will power. I would just be dying to know, especially when my pants started falling down. Keep up the good work |

| I think you have amazing willpower! The only way I could not weigh myself almost daily is if I have my husband hide the scale--which now that I've this post, may not be such a bad idea! Congrats on goin with what ya know will work for you

| Well Done Tim! I keep the same attitude as you. I refuse to let myself to be a scale-slave.. If our clothes are getting lose, it means that we shrink |
