| What veggies are you eating??? I am having the same issue and I am looking at what veggies I can add a serving in to get a little more carb power going!!! |

| I don't think you have to eat 15 carbs in veggies (at least not when you are following DANDR). The think to watch in induction is that you do eat veggies from the allowed lists only, that you spread them out on several meals and that most of your daily carbs come from veggies (and not from cheese, sweeteners, eggs etc). I don't have problem getting my veggies up there. I like onions and garlic.

| I've never been the most avid veggie eater. I try to eat asparagus and canned green beans as often as possible. It makes me sad that I can only eat 1 cup of green beans/day. Sometimes I'll try to mix spinach in my scrambled eggs. I also like boiled broccoli. I eat a lot of egg salad with relish...would relish count? hmm...I need to consult my DANDR again!! Shew!

| Pumpkin is a good way to boost veggie carbs. I like it with some sweetner and cinnamon, maybe a little cream cheese, and warmed in the microwave. It makes a great dessert. |

| I don't know if you guys have a Trader Joe's around..... but they have frozen artichoke hearts that (according to the label) are 5 carbs all fiber per serving. They zap in the microwave easily and are SOOOOOO tasty! They have no fat so I have to find ways to add fat. Good luck and Happy New Year!

| Ohhh...frozen artichokes...good idea. I hope Kroger or the Super Walmart carries them....no trader joes here

| I found that it is the whole salad eating that drug my carbs down. I stick to maybe a small salad with supper, but snack on something higher carb like peppers, and that boosts my carbs up along with some crustless pumpkin pie. |
