| That second week can be tricky. Many people see little weightloss that week. It is like the body pauses a bit. Sometimes as our bodies shed the fat the cells hold on to extra water but they will let it go.. Often you will lose inches though. It happened to me too. So don't let that one week beat you. It is a long journey. Also can you eat small snacks while at work. Boiled eggs, cold cuts, pre prepared salads? You should eat your supper. Going hungry is not something that helps you on Atkins.

| Yep, Liv is right - you cannot skip meals because we need to keep blood sugar level. Can you have quick to eat snacks in your work breaks, or pre-prepared for when you get home? Boiled eggs, ham roll ups, cheese, chopped veggies like tomatos or celery or cucumber are good. I imagine exercise is the last thing you want to do when you've been on your feet that long. Could you do an activity on your day off? Being fitter overal will probably make such long shifts seems easier on your body. Well done on your success so far |

| I will be taking some quick things to work with me on Thursday ( the next day I work). I have decided to walk in the work-out room after work. It gives me some time to myself and leave "work at work". I will just have to make changes to my day and to take time for myself. Thanks for the advice. |

| I agree. Pack your self a small cooler and have it loaded with foods you can eat. Your body needs it and so does your mind. Good luck in the work-out room. Have fun and enjoy your special time. Julie |

| Hi Dana, post your daily menu and everything you eat drink in the menu section and have it reviewed there. Do you exercise as well? It may be different every time you do it and we lose weight at different rates so try not to compare because you are making progress.

| It can be tough; I've gone through the same thing. Post the menu like previously said. Also, remember to only eat until satisfied not stuffed. Are you exercising regularly? |
