| I think everyone feels better about themselves when they are in a healthy mode and that translates well into our sexuality. I know I don't mind being naked in front of my sweetie now that I have dropped some weight! And remember the most important thing.... SEX BURNS CALORIES!!!!

| Phil H is absolutely right. Unfortunately excess fat really mucks with your hormones, particularly with men: "One of the most important factors that affect testosterone levels of men is an enzyme called aromatase, which is found in fat tissue. This enzyme is responsible for converting testosterone into estrogen, thus altering the ratio of estrogen to testosterone (Steiner MS et al 2003). Men who have excessive body fat, especially abdominal fat, are likely to have increased estrogen levels caused by aromatase activity and a dramatically increased estrogen level compared to testosterone. (Phillips GB 1993)" Estrogen is great for many things - but one of the things it is not great for is increasing a gentleman's ardor in the bedroom. |

| I'm noticing the same thing after only five days back. And if the reports of "regaining inches" is accurate I can't say that I see a nevative aspect here. 80s |
