| All right... so that means approximately 34% protein, 56% fat and 10% carbs. It is not ideal, but it is not terribly bad. Add more fat to your meals (you're off by about 30 g of fat), cut down on the meat and you'll be fine. Excess protein is converted into sugar, so eating too much meat is indeed not helping you. If you are on induction, your appetite should be suppressed by now. Did you add any new food? Check all the foods you are eating for hidden sugars. TOM can give cravings, too. ![]() How much water are you drinking? Are you exercising?

| Okay, so that makes a lot more sense to me. If protein will turn into sugar that could explain the cravings too. I kept wondering what was wrong with me... I have been on extended induction for some time now. I thought about moving on to owl, but get in my veggies already. When i tried dairy things got out of control so I went back down. But couldnt figure out the cravings. Thank you so much for taking a look at this for me. I will cut back on the meat & get a little extra olive oil in there. Thanks again Georgiana!

| There is an interesting 'sticky thread' in the forum about how to add fat etc, I will look for it and post the link Here it is - in the 14-day induction forum http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...-need-eat.html (How much fat do I need to eat?)
