| The no-nitrate rule is because nitrates have been linked to cancer. Nitrates don't affect weight loss, at least according to the things I've read about them.

| i dunno about that.. i personally stall on sodium nitrite for some odd reason. i dunno if thats just my body.. but yeah the cancer is linked to it... I suggest that you go get it from the meat aisle of your grocery store.. pure bacon. cut right off the meat. I wouldnt take chances with pre packaged foods

| Do they have a Trader Joe's store chain in the UK? Trader Joe's carries the uncured nitrite free bacon and nitrite free lunch meats too! |
