Default Not hungry, how to move out of induction

Hi. I am in my 3rd week of induction. I wanted to extend it past the 2 cause I didn't lose a lot of weight week 2 and wanted to keep up the weight loss. Week 1 I lost 9 lbs...did great. And now a few days into week 3 I've lost 2 so far. Here's the problem. So far I've lost total of 12. I have about 20 left to go. But I'm not hungry. To the point I usually have to force myself to eat. On occasion I wake up wanting to eat. But lunch and dinner I have to force myself. Especially more so this week. I'm worried my body will go into starvation if I'm not eating enough. And then I'm not sure how to move on to OWL if I'm not even hungry now. Any thoughts ?? Thanks !

You have lost a lot - relative to where you want to go. So you have great metabolism - lucky you - but do not muck it up by eating too little.
Carbs are often a key to all this. How many carbs are you eating now?

Unless you are anorexic, you'll eat enough.I only eat when I'm hungry.Usually twice a day.The weight continues to fall off without a hint of stalling. Sound like you are doing something right.

You do not have to eat more in OWL. Your calories will stay pretty much the same and the protein will also stay at 30%. What you should do during OWL Rung 1 is exchange some of the calories from fat for vegetables. And if you don't want to eat a mountain of vegetables, there's a sticky thread in the OWL forum telling you how to avoid that.

The link to the sticky: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ables-owl.html (Eating More Vegetables on OWL)

Imagine that you're doing great, losing weight, feeling better than ever, thrilled with yourself, hearing compliments from friends and acquaintances---and then it happens! Despite all your good intentions, you're mightily tempted by a food you're not supposed to have. What to do? I'll tell you this: You'd better have a strategy ready!"

Thanks guys ! I usually eat around 1200-1400 calories a day. My carbs are usually 12-15. I put my daily meals into Fitday a couple times a week to make sure I'm where I should be and I've learned to adjust to keep on target with induction ratios. The link for adding vegs. helped. It suggested adding higher carb vegs in place of some lower ones. Don't know why I didn't think of that one.

Thanks again
