I believe that the best way to overcome temptation is not with willpower, which is so often in short supply, but with our brain power, a potentially unlimited resource. Imagine that you're doing great, losing weight, feeling better than ever, thrilled with yourself, hearing compliments from friends and acquaintances---and then it happens! Despite all your good intentions, you're mightily tempted by a food you're not supposed to have. What to do? I'll tell you this: You'd better have a strategy ready!" | Hi xosteph, welcome to the board and thanks for joining. Peanuts are either a legume or nuts, where ever you want to put them. I don't think I would worry so much about them as I would be any other ingredients lurking in them. I really think most peanut sauces have added sugar, some brown and some white sugar. Chicken or pork with garlic and basil stir-fried Spicy Clear Prawn Soup ( Tom Yum Koong)- ask them not to add sugar and u can bring your own splenda Stir-fried veggies with soy sauce (not oyster sauce) Grilled Chicken and papaya salad ( some sugar in salad but not a lot, u can ask them to skip sugar i believe) I love curry but I just have to make my own cause I don't trust restaurants |
