Default Feeling warm?

Hi everyone. I've noticed something since I've been back on Atkins. Before I started back on this WOE, I stayed cold. All last summer I felt chilly unless it was in the 80's and 90's. This past winter I was miserable, I lived in sweats, hunting socks, under a quilt on the couch with a small space heater sitting directly in front of me. Now, since beginning again on Atkins, I'm constantly warm. Not overheated by anyone's standard, but plenty warm. Could it be because this WOE has revved up my metabolism? That's the only thing I can come up with. Maybe it's hot flashes, but I prefer to think my metabolism has finally kicked into gear.....

Both my husband and I have had warm feeling too. Especially in the face at night. I know that he shouldn’t be having them. We believe that it is just the fat burning. Not that I can say that is what it is a 100%. Hope this helps you a little.

Default Re: Feeling warm?

Oddly enough, it's the reverse for me. Before I started on atkins I was forever hot! Even the mildest of days made me sweat like mad - made for a lot of clothes washing, showers and hairwashes. Now I am just normal - got through a recent warm spell without even breaking a sweat.

I am the same as Keetje, always hot. It isn't warm enough here yet to see if that will change, plus I'm only on day 12 - but I'm kinda excited at the possibility that it might go away...that would be cool (lol)
