| No, you cannot eat bread or anything breaded with regular stuff during Induction. Here is the list of foods acceptable during the first phase of Atkins: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...induction.html (What foods can be eaten on Induction?) It's not only about eating less than 20 net carbs -- it also matters where these net carbs are coming from. To understand this, it's best to read the book. On this board, we go by the 2002 edition of Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution. The Rules of Induction can also be found in this sticky thread: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...induction.html (What are the Rules of Induction?)

Despite all your good intentions, you're mightily tempted by a food you're not supposed to have. What to do? I'll tell you this: You'd better have a strategy ready!" | Sorry, but you can't eat the breading. It's not just the amount of carbs you eat, but the TYPE of carbs. If you're doing Induction, look on the acceptable foods list. No breading on there. |
