Where can I find Flaxseed in the Grocery Store...

I've searched where I thought it would be, cereal aisle and baking goods aisle and I can't find it! Is it considered gourmet??? Will I need to go to a fancy store? I sure could use it to regulate me!

I got mine at Sprouts in Phoenix. Does Casa Grande have Sprouts yet?

Not even close! We have the major supermarkets, Fry's, Safeway, Albertsons but definitely no Sprouts. It may be worth a trip up there to find one though! It seems like I heard that there was one in Chandler or Mesa which wouldn't be too far away (we're used to having to go to the "City" for stuff).

Or perhaps sosmething like a GNC Health Food Store would probable carry it also.

I got mine at Publix. it was down the aisle with Slim Fast and candy.. the 1lb bag was $2-3 dollars

try asking the customer service folk. if they don't have it they may be able to order some for you. it is usually in the specialty flour area. Bob's Red Mill and Hodgens sp? Mill are 2 big producers of it.

You might want to try looking in the Organic/Health food section of the grocery. That's where my Kroger keeps all whole grain meals and all the specialty low-carb products.
