Does anyone have a good recipe for salmon cakes . I am on induction so I need one I can eat with very low carbs . Thanks Rhonda

I make them like I make tuna cakes.
If you are using canned fish, make certain it is extremely well drained of the packing liquid. Then to 1 can of fish, add 1 egg, a tablespoon of finely minced onion, salt and pepper to taste. Mix this very well, and don't beat the egg before you add it to the fish otherwise it won't hold together as well.
Form the mixture into patties. Then fry them in butter or oil. Do not move or flip the cake over until a golden brown crust has developed along the bottom edges. If you move or try to flip these cakes too soon, they will fall apart. Cook until golden brown on both sides.
I like fish cakes with a bit of mustard mayonnaise on the side (equal parts mustard and mayonnaise) because it gives it a spicy, savory edge.![]()

Salmon cakes
1 can of salmon
1 egg
1/4 to 1/2 cup flax meal
salt and pepper to taste
a dash of sea food seasoning ( to taste)
1 tbsp of low carb catchup
squirt of mustard
large dallop of mayo
Prepare salmon by taking out of can and removing the large bone and excess skin. Add all other ingredients in bowl and mix well. Make into patties and fry in butter or olive oil.
I love these and they are so good.
