Default Major Victory

One of my weaknesses has always been Blimpie/Subway/Mr. Goodcent sub sandwiches. I just love them. Well today I scored a major victory, I went to blimpie for lunch and got a Ham & Swiss sub, had it loaded up with lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, black olives, and mayo. I brought it home took everything off the bread and threw away the bread. Then I ate what was left. It was really really good, and gave me a feeling as if I was cheating. I am quickly learning that there is a way around everything, if you will just look for it.

I think if you ask at Subway they will make any sandwitch into a salad for you, that way you wouldn't even have to bother with the bread!

Just my 2 cents worth.

man, my mom owns a subshop, as mentioned b4, it's actually called Rose's Subs & Such, were the subs are all 2 4 1 !!! WOO HOO ! u can get 2 assorteds (or cold cut trio) for 5.77 plus tax, comes out to 6.63 SO for 6 dollars and 63 cents, you get 2 yummy subs!! (those prices are canadian and are subject to change, but not likely, had to put that incase someone complains about price change if there was one) but our subs aren't really like subway, more like Mr. Sub, but some people say ours are better then both put together! So my point is, I HATE SUBS!! I ate them for 2 freaking straight years!! (maybe that adds to my fatness??) lol.

yes you are allowed to eat the topping off of pieces of pizza. I would wait till after induction but yes after your first two weeks you can do this. the worst part of the pizza is the crust.

...scrape off as much of the sauce as you can, as it's usually made with
sugar.

Just an FYI- The Atkins Way of Life is such a popular and newly widespread thing that fast food joints and sub shops dont even bat an eyelash at you asking for a no bread sandwich! Subway actually did it for me for lunch today- everything went into a salad container! SO did Burger King on my cheeseburger (no ketchup, tomato, or onion though) the other day, VERY cool of all of them....
