| hello and welcome induction is a minimum of 2 weeks...but you may stay on up to 6 months if you choose to. however, I suggest you start your induction AFTER you have read the book. Starting it before and just doing your own thing...while you might lose weight, and you will undoubtly be eating better...most likely you will not be doing induction properly and you will have to start over anyway. 20 grams is the number Dr. Atkins felt would get even the most metabolically resistant into ketosis.

| Hi - as stated by the other posts - READ THE BOOK. It contains very specific information regarding exactly what to eat. I would also suggest the Dr. Atkins carb counter book (it's the size of 1/4 sheet of paper). At the beginning - I used it continuously. Good luck in your endeavor - if I can do this - anybody can :flowerki:
