Default i'm starting out the new year the right way

A while ago there was an ad/headline on msn for an atkins ediet and just out of curiousity i clicked on it and filled out a profile, only to learn that it costs money. My profile stayed on there and yesterday my mom was on the internet at like 5AM and clicked on it and was on my profile and saw my current weight, goal weight, BMI, etc. When she saw that she decided to pay for the ediet plan, which is a 13 week plan (I have the book, but my mom does the shopping and with her schedule it would take her too long to read through the book since i want to get started ASAP). So i'm starting out this new year the right way, and if i get discouraged from the diet and think i cant do it any longer i will just remember a quote i heard someone say "Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels"

Hey you can do it!

I am starting over on Atkins today as well. I began in May '03 and by Sept. '03 I reached my goal, but btwn Thanksgiving and Christmas gain more lbs than I care to mention (7lbs) back. So here I am starting over again. The easy part is taking it off. The realy challenge is keeping it off.

But, please have faith and visit this site often all the support you could every wish for is here on this bulletin board.

i am 18.


One thing i am not sure of with the ediet plan is that some of the week one recipes have carbs in them, like for breakfast i have an open face steak sandwich (one peice of bread only though,but still, i dont know how many carbs the piece of bread has). My impression was that during induction phase you had to have NO carbs at all

NO carbs? I'd read the book again. You are supposed to be getting your 20 grams of carbs from veggies during induction though, not grains. I'd toss the bread and write a letter to the Atkins site, asking them why they contradict the book.

by NO CARBS that means NO PASTAS BREADS etc ok just be careful of the hidden carbs u can have burger king and mc d's if u wanted make sure it is under 20 carbs go get the book w/ the carb counter inside it


that is kewl that u r 18 r u a senior or freshmen in college
do u have a car? if so what kind is it?
i have a car myself a brand new mustang time to go
i am going to dance

i am a senior in high school. I have a car and its a 1992 firebird, but hopefully in spring i will have a newer car and hopefully it will be a 98 - 99 trans am.

Actually the new Atkins book "The Atkins Essentials" allows for one piece of low carb break once per day while on Induction. One can even have low carb pancakes. Who'da thunk it?

I am not doing the Atkins or South Beach yet I am doing my own low-cal low-carb diet oh hello weight loss I think 2morrow morning I will be 137lbs I hope that I will be that if u want to see my low cal/low carb diet meal plan I will post it in one of my posts talk to you
