131 Pounds lossed so far, Thanks Atkins

Hi all, I justed wanted to post my progress, I started 6/8/03, I was 324.5 pounds, The list of ailments was wider/longer than my waist. I was at an all time emotional low, To be honest like many I avoided Atkins because of all the negative talk. Until I took the time to educate myself. We're so lucky Dr. Atkin's kept pushing his belief's. My life has changed so much.
36"waist (from 64"), My energy level is up 100 percent. Many of the pains have lessened. Asthma has become a memory. Atkins's is right. It's not a diet but a way of life.
Ironically when I see people whom I have not seen in a year, They're shocked at my loss or don't even recognize me, almost all ask how I've lost, I tell them Atkin's. It seems that all my efforts are immediately discounted. When I have the time I explain how healthy, easy to do, and beneficial the Atkin's diet really is. For me weighing 131 pounds more was much more dangerous. To all who have 100 and more to lose, Stick to the diet, read the book, Become your own expert, And hang in their, We did not gain this weight overnight. It takes time, But when I look back, I find I actually love the change in the way I eat. Good Luck!

Way to go! I bet your life has changed in many other ways also since now you probally fell more positive about yourself and life in general. Isn't it terrible how sometimes we judge ourself my how much we weigh and we feel we are not as worthy as smaller people?
