Default How to prevent water weight from coming back?

I lost 10 lbs the first week (water weight) but it all came back the next week and I gained 15 lbs please help fellow atkineers.

Were you eating on the induction plan perfectly? That is a lot to gain back after water weight. I gained about 3 lbs back in water weight. I think you need to do a few things:

1. Make sure to weight yourself at the same time each day (when you get up in the morning for most accurate) on the same scale.

2.Follow the approved induction food list to a tee. Do not look for other outside things that are for sale in the store under low carb...just follow the book with a clean induction.

3. Don't get discouraged - it is science we are talking about here. You can not do this diet (WOE) and not loose weight. It is physically impossible.

Maybe you should post your menu and we can see if there are any major issues that we see. It is really easy to get "hidden carbs" without knowing it.

Most of all - stay on here - ask for help - there are plenty of people who will help you more than you can imagine.

water, water and more water...

drink more than your required water everyday...drink alot of water. shoot for 200 oz a day!!!....the more water you drink the water water will be flushed from your system

hmm, you should send your diet menu. i have lost 10 pounds but maybe a lot of it is just water... 200 oz :yikes yeesh hehe i can barley get through 60oz :sadblinky i just gotta try harder i guess
