Default 3 weeks down 30 pounds gone!

Im new at this bulletin board thing. But yea heres my story so far...3 weeks ago May 10 of 2004 I started my journey. I am a 19 year old male and have been overweight throughout my teenage life. When I started the diet I weighed in at 366 plbs. Today I weighed myself (I no longer hate weighing scales) and I am at 336 plbs. This atkins approach is really getting the job done. Now I look towards the future and i see a new thinner healthier life ahead of me.

That's awesome!

Congrats on the weight loss and being proactive in getting healthy! It's best to lick this now when you are young. Develop good eating habits, take your vitamins, drink your water, and exercise!

Good luck with your continued journey!

Can you post your regular menus please? I'm on day 5/6 of Atkins Induction, and while I didn't take my starting weight or measurements, i know I believe I am around 328 now (unless the scale that i'm using, which doesn't go beyond 330 is malfunctioning because I weigh more than its max capacity). I am also nineteen and we have very similar circumstances, so I'm wondering If I could use you as a model for my own atkins attempt. I've given up drinking anything but water, and my menus are pretty consistent. However, my mom is a nutritionist at a military school, and more or less "steals" all our food from work, lol. So I don't know whether or not things like the sliced ham she brings home are cured in sugar. The bacon is raw though, so I think that's safe. Other than that, I think i'm on track but don't feel any better. What was your workout program like? Thanks.
