There's a fine line between support and browbeating. B ut maybe that's what also makes me appreciate our friendship as well.

{{{Heidi}}} It has definitely been a spiritual morph, to be sure. There's a lot going on with larger people. That's not to say it isn't a struggle for people who have lesser amounts to lose, but usually we large luxuroius ladies have other things going on that we're battling. Fighting past that is definitely a victory. I have a long way to go, but I'm feeling glorious! I'm feeling like more than a fighter. I'm a winner! I never would have been able to say that a year ago!

Look at me! I have 85 pounds to go and I'm still a winner!

{{{{H2Ohhh}}} I'm loving your handle (in a purely socially acceptable and not awkward way). What really changed things for me (you made some excellent points about things moving slower) is that if this is what I'm doing for the rest of my life, what's taking another year?

I mean, we sleep 25% of our lives. Weight loss will take me far less of a percentage of my life to lose than I spend sleeping! That's nothing, especially when I've not felt this amazingly awake in years!
