Kent! Congratulations! Two years is a wonderful achievement! Your post was inspirational - especially to someone like me, who just recently started out on this way of eating. Thanks for sharing - and congrats again!

Thanks all for your comments. For those just starting, I can't say it enough -- just make the decision to stick with it for a couple meals or a couple days. You can certainly do it for a couple more days. Let the diet do it wonders for you -- additional energy, lack of hunger, appetite control, and hopefully weight loss, and it will reenforce you are on the right path.

Very inspirational and very encouraging, than you Kent for sharing with us. I started with about 150lbs to lose and hoped to do it in 12 motnhs. I now realise that was unrealistic and hope to be at goal by 01 April 2007, which will be about 19 months. I'll just keep coming back and re-reading this!

I know I'll never go back to gorging on bread and potatoes (my two big weaknesses), this WOE is so much better.
