Default 7 days so far

Well tomorrow will be the start of week 2 of my induction stage. I was on Atkins once before and lost weight, had some surgery and ate the wrong food and fell off. I've got tired of feeling sick and tired and decided I HAVE to live this way of life. It helps in so many ways with my PCOS symptoms and I'm tired of taking birth control pills that do nothing for it. I've lost 10 so far and I'm about to start exercising this week.

I've been on it exactly 7 days too. I'd kill for your results. I haven't cheated, I've exercised and I drink 144 ounces of water a day but the weight loss/inches (as far as I can tell) have been minimal. I am not giving up just frustrated and I have the ketone sticks that show I'm in ketosis soooo... We'll see maybe week 2 will bring me better results.

CONGRATS on such a loss! Keep up the good work.

Thanks and congrats yourself. You're in ketosis so your doing it right! The bathroom seems to be my best friend with all this water I'm drinking. LOL Hopefully the weight loss is not a fluke and I stall out. We'll see.

Hi,

I am new to this forum thing and I as well have PCOS and I am very insulin resistant. I am starting the induction part of the plan today. Do you know of any other people who have PCOS and have had success with Atkins? Everyones stories are very inspiring and I hope I can take control of PCOS and lose some weight.
