| Of course not, how else did I lose 44lbs in 3 months time, and with NO exercise at all? Must be Atkin's, also I'm being true to meself. |

| LOL. Yep, you're losing weight. I did it your way the first time (note, I didn't say Atkins!) Lets compare in 10 years and see who has learned to eat for a lifetime. meanwhile, i am not your mother, nor do i play her on TV. So eat what your heart desires...on Joe's LowCarb Diet Plan |

| I can't say how much I appreciate this ADBB and the insightful postings that led me to re-read the book and rededicate myself even more, which resulted in eating the 2.5 cups of veggies a day and exercising more. Unlike the way we have been programmed, less is not always more, so one piece of broccoli is not better than a cup if it gets you to 2.5 cups of salads and veggies for the day. It is definitely needed for regular digestive processes. On the exercise side, I am tired/sore every day from exercising pretty much every day, and I feel great about my results in terms of how I feel, look, my clothes fitting, more energy, etc. I vote stick with the program as not only has it been tested out by millions, I have seen results myself. PS: I'm adding this note because I was thinking about it after my post...and then Carbless In Seattle said (next post) exactly what I was thinking of adding, re: skipping veggies for meats and not exercising is what mis-informs people about Atkins. Everyone's opinion is welcome, but this is after all an Atkins BB, so some are not as appropriate as others.

| Anyone who says they are doing atkins, while simultaneously not exercising, or eating any veggies, is giving the diet a bad name. That is not what the diet is about. I'm not trying to attack anyone or be negative, but its situations like these that have created that ENORMOUS group of people out there who think "atkins is terrible for you", tsk tsk. |
