| It will level out a little to a more normal loss of a couple of pounds a week, but it will keep going if you do, so keep at it! And welcome!

| Congrats! That first week and a half is so great! Like Momtomany1 said, it will level off. You might feel a bit discouraged when that happens but stick with it. I'm so glad I did. I'm losing a lot slower now but I feel great and the inches are coming off too! Keep up the good work!

| That's so great. I'm starting Atkins again today. I haven't been on it for 3 years ... but I did lose 60 pounds and kept most of it off until I got pregnant again. I seem to gain 50 pounds when I'm pregnant. What was your starting weight, if I may ask. |

| Yeah that was what had caused me to gain so much of my weight back too! Before i had my son i had went on Atkins and was able to wear size 5's, but now i have to work back again to get there! lol I will settle for a size 8, which im in 16's now so thats not too far! But good luck on your journey!

| Hey mom22! Congrats on the great work!! What have you been eating? I'm just curious because the last time I did Atkins my weight just melted off like yours and this time I'm struggling and have been eating the same things. Can you give me a sample day of your diet? Thanks!! Jessie |

| Hey Jessie! Actually, i try in the mornings to have one of my Low Carb Atkins Shakes if i am running really behind. If i am having a smooth morning i fix 2 scrambled eggs with 2 Tablespoons of half and half and beat them. Then i usually fix 3 slices of bacon either in the oven or broiler. for lunch i will take slices of pepper jack or cheddar cheese and roll them will acceptable meats in them along with celery slices and a touch of cream cheese. Dinner i usually make something like Sirloin Patties on the stove or grill, Broccoli, and a small side salad. There are so many different things that you can cook, you just have to sit down and take the time to think which is my problem lol! | I am having the same probelm! Last time i did the atkins it worked great for me and this time i have been on it since monday the 22 also and the scale did not move at all!! I dont know whats going on! I have been following the rules too. Any help? |

| I recently bought a scale from walmart thats by Health-o-meter and it tells you your weight, Body Fat %, Water %, and BMI. Its really helpful because today when i weighed myself i didnt drop pounds but my body fat and BMI had decreased! I think that this scale is a good investment because you can see results that regular scales cant give you! i paid 49$ for it but its WORTH IT!

| The first time you do atkins you get the best results, each time after it comes off slower. The first time i did atkins i lost 30 lbs in the first month, this time i lost 13.8. I also have a health-o-meter scale, they are very accurate too, mine is the same as the doctors scale.
