Completed my line by line 14 day induction last night and lost 11.6lbs in that time and crossed over into the normal BMI range. I'm shocked as it is well over the 10% I'd expected. Not bad for my first ever shot at dieting. Certainly motivates me to keep eating healthily. Since I didn't see any reliable weight loss (after initial water weight) until just this past Wednesday, my plan is to give my body one more week eating by induction guidelines and then re-evaluate. My body may just be beginning to get the hint that it's ok not to snarff pasta. Looking forward to moving up rungs. The berries are calling to me. There really does seem to be something to doing it by the book.

Congratulations! It is a terrific feeling to step on the scale and see that you are down 11 lbs, especially when you don't have a huge amount of weight to lose. Good luck!

You got that right! I was really floored because I haven't noticed any shrinking besides a bit on my shoulders, a smidge under my rump and in the way my rings fit. My pants still mock me as they squeeze. I may pop with joy once my waist and belly decide to play ball!

I took a moment to do some number crunching based on that Austin Powers ticker, and you managed to lose about a third of your total goal in Induction. Way to go doc!

Thanks, pals! I told FLdoodette that I accidentally grabbed a size small scrub bottom the other day and (aside from being a mile too short) they actually looked appropriate instead of like I was the floozy entertainment for the evening. Granted they are designed like tents with string, but I'll take my wins where I can get them.
