Re: 151 lbs lost | | | Thank you Dana, you're most kind! I'm glad my explanation helped out, I wanted to clear the time frame up. I will for sure pass along your congrats to my brother, thank you so much!!! He's doing great and I know he'll really appreciate your comments regarding how he's doing....thank you for being so considerate and mentioning him. You know, maybe it's the foods you're eating?? I wonder if it's a water retention thing you're going through. Are you eating foods higher in sodium? Are you getting enough fat? Are you drinking enough water....just a few things to think about. I know for me...sodium for me is an absolute KILLER...I retain a great deal of water if I have just a little bit so it's something I have been very mindful of. How long have you been on Atkins recently? Any cheats? Has your Induction been a clean one? Just getting an idea of where you're at....sorry for all the questions, I'm just firing them out there because I care and want to try to help where I might be able to. Have you taken your measurements at all? I highly recommend that you do...measurements speak VOLUMES compared to scales....I have seen a lot of people go through what you are right now (on this board) and then all of a sudden the scales start to drop....that's why it's much more encouraging to take measurements because you'll really see the inches fall off faster then you'll see the scales move....if you haven't done measurements yet, bust out the tape measure and go for it!!! I think that will help you.
Another thing that as been instrumental in my success is my physical activity. I exercise six times a week, twice a day....before I go to work I work out and after I get home and have had something to eat. Eating right and exercising go hand in hand. Now, I'm not suggesting that you go to the extreme I have right away but start adding some form of physical activity into your daily routine and I promise you, you won't regret it! And then gradually work up. Start walking, take your gorgeous family out for a stroll and make it a family thing where everyone can enjoy it together and spend it with one another....it doesn't quite feel like exercise then And lastly...drink LOTS of water!!!! Makes a big difference. Listen, PM me anytime and we'll work on this together if you would like. I'm right here along side of you and we can problem solve this thing out. Maybe you're being a little impatient and actually losing more inches then you realize?? Don't give up...lets work it through and try something new okay? I know some people say the more times they go on and off from this way of eating it can get a little more difficult each time...HOWEVER...that doesn't mean the individual can't achieve success...it just might take a little more effort and patience before things start to happen...I'm not saying that is happening in your case, however if you've been on and off of it six times...maybe this time it will just take a little more work and patience... but you'll do it!!! Remember we're all in this together and we'll get to our goals together! If you're up to it, pm me what you've been eating for last last 3 days...lets take a peek and see what it looks like. Talk with you soon,
Sarina
