| Weight loss is a function of age, sex, starting weight, body composition, metabolism, etc. So unless you find someone who is identical to you in all aspects, the rate at which other people lost weight does not tell you anything about how fast you should/will lose.

I believe that the best way to overcome temptation is not with willpower, which is so often in short supply, but with our brain power, a potentially unlimited resource. Imagine that you're doing great, losing weight, feeling better than ever, thrilled with yourself, hearing compliments from friends and acquaintances---and then it happens! Despite all your good intentions, you're mightily tempted by a food you're not supposed to have. What to do? I'll tell you this: You'd better have a strategy ready!" | i can't say over a few months, but i can tell you over the last 5 weeks or so. starting weight 226.6 week 1 216.4 week 2 216.3 week 3 219.2 week 4 214.4 its still 2 days from week 5, but i'm currently at 212.4 i had a classic post induction stall in week 2 and 3, and its pretty common so don't let it freak you out. after that its been coming off just fine, anywhere between half a pound and a pound a day most of the time, with a couple days of the same or a 1lb gain thrown in. the key is, and i cannot stress this enough, do not freak out about the scale. look at the big picture, and its still going down.
