    Smile 56 Pounds Lost in 81 Days! :)))

    I had a three day stall last week..really my first (i'm blessed) I was worried but kept up my routine (akins, exercise, water)...and a few days ago i began to lose again.
    I am down to 287 .....I think I was last this weight over 8 years ago.....
    On News Years eve..My resolution was to get to 250 before the 4th of July..and today i'm 37 pounds from my goal and i'm so happy i have actually cried...
    I wish to thank everyone in here who has posted, as I read these forums daily..sometimes for an hour at a time and this has been and will be a great movitater for me.
    The only bad thing about losing weight.is. clothes.....I was wearing a size 50 jean..and xxxl shirts.....Now i'm 44 Jeans and wearing xl shirts...so I've been ordering some clothes as i go .....but not many as my goal is not here yet and hope to wear a 38-40 and l or xl shirt .....
    I've gotten quite a few commets from people I havent seen . One lady today said I was losing weight faster than the people on the Biggest Loser show heehhehe....(never watched it).....

    I see no real need to move up the rungs..as Dr. Atkins says.."if you have alot to lose" and have no problems, you may stay on induction for much longer than 2 weeks...He also say's "staying on induction for up to 6 months is ok".....
    I am losing weight on induction, I feel great. This motivates me to stay on a diet.
    I will move up the rungs once I get close to 250. as this was my goal..but realistically I should be 200 or less to be healthy (and my health is main reason I have to lose this weight).

    thanks for the encouragement...But unlike others I go by the book...exactly by the book...I'm thinking thats why I'm having success..
    If my success bother's you, I'm sorry...But I'm sure I will not fail..and If i do...I'm sure you will be the first to comment on it...
    It's a good thing most people have positive comments here or alot of people would be discouraged.

    Your success doesn't bother me at all ... it's of no consequence to anyone but you.

    I'm sure you realized that the people Dr. Atkins had on Induction for 6 months were patients of his ... and I'm sure that your doctor approves your decision.

    Really ... people have been successful doing what you're doing.

    People have "failed", too.

    I'm sure you know the risks of staying on Induction too long. I'm sure you've weight the risks and made the best decision for you.

    Good job kevin ....You have done great. I have so much to lose so reading great results like yours gives me sso much encouragement & makes me believe I can do it too. I intend to stay in ongoing maintainace as well as long as I continue to lose weight if I stall then I will look at moving up the rungs but I say if it aint broke why fix it.
