| Net carbs = Carbs minus fiber minus sugar alcohols. That's how the bars can get away with saying a lot lower carb count. Now a lot of people on the board will tell you to watch the sugar alcohols as different people's bodies react differently with them. So to be on the safe side you might want to call it 5g of carbs. But for me, I'd stay away from those bars as much as possible. I find that I can come up with more nutritious snacks for less money!

| Thanks gbidruglord. Is the "sugar alcohols" included in the "sugar" listed or is that a whole other catagory? I was going to just have them very rarely. Maybe for birthdays instead of cake. | Don't forget to read the labels and match the ingredients to the rungs they are appropriate for. Not all bars are technically "legal" for the OWL rungs set up by Dr. A in the 2002 book.
