Default Help with my husband

I've been struggling to lose this weight for a couple of years. I've lost 70 pounds but still have 60 to go. I put my husband on Atkins in January and he promptly lost 90 pounds. Don't you just hate men. Anyway, he needs to maintain now but is still losing. He didn't even slow down when he got closer to goal. Again don't ya just hate em Anyway, it's been difficult because there's so many things he doesn't like. He ate mainly induction foods the whole time with berries thown in. Now I'm not sure what to feed him to get his weight to stop. He doesn't like milk or milk products. Nor grains like bread or oatmeal. And there's not many veggies he'll eat. I did buy him some watermelon today. Boy I had to fight myself to stay out of it He doesn't like nuts or peanut butter. He's been eating a banana a day for a few weeks. He's now about 5 pounds below goal.
Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Susan

Well, at some point he is going to plateau. I wouldn't worry about it too much, but try to introduce some different types of vegetables. Have you tried Rutabaga? What about nuts and seeds? Barring any allergies, nuts and seeds are generally calorie dense and provide great nutrition. It appears you're on Rung 7, is your husband on this Rung as well or has he been eating mainly induction food this entire time?

Potatoes? Rice? They are good for you in moderation, as long as you aren't trying to lose weight! I have the same issue with my husband beating me to goal (to be fair he only needed to lose 30-40lbs), but he eats fruit. He keeps it at work so I never see it What did he eat before Atkins that you could add back?

Will he eat veggies in casseroles and other dishes with more than just one ingredient?

Well, he doesn't like nuts. And Like I said, he has been eating bananas and watermelon. Can't remember what rung those are. He doesn't like much of anything from the rungs except fruits.

He doesn't like rice. Potatos he could do. I'm going to try speghetti. this week also. I still have some low carb speghetti I tried a while back. Can't do it myself but I could eat the sauce.
Thanks, guys. Good suggestions!
