I'm just thinking about the costume I can fit into next year if I resist the temptations. Do I want a Butterfinger or slimmer hips? We just have to make it through this one day. I think I can, I think I can.....

HEHEHEHEHEH... Think how much money you'll save by giving that candy away to someone else later. I actually have a rather finicky DS that would not eat any gum, taffy, skittles, certain flavors (most of them) of hard candies, several varieties of bars, etc... so I sealed them up and froze them in the deep-freeze for a whole year, save some which became stocking stuffers last christmas, and basket filler at Easter (yes, the "Easter" candy that was from trick or treating ended up back in the freezer again!!). AHHHH, HEHEHEHEH,....The swarms of kids now plagueing my front porch have already got 2/3 of it!!! LOL And there's still another 45 minutes until our neighborhood declares lights off. Meanwhile, get some legal treats for yourself out and start eating, before temptation gets you tonight. ![]() Last edited by boonie stomper; October 31st, 2008 at 07:17 PM.

How did it go? I am new to the boards and would like to join the mom group! btw Barb: I have to have a "hands off" approach! AND I bought a big bag of pistachios to munch on if the craving is too much! WE still have a big bowl of candy by the front door.... I'm treating it like it is just a decoration (inedible)
