Default Newbie..starting.. i need advice

Hey im starting my diet tomorrow...b/c man diets are soo hard.. i have a goal to lose atleast 80lbs before August 16th before school starts... do yall think thats possiable?... if i start tomorrow.. b/c i want to go into school and ppl will be like "Wow man she looks great"... i would love that soo much.... and will yall leave me some advice about what to eat at breakfast,lunch,and dinner?..plz i need all the help i can get.

Anything is possible, but even if you only lose 40 pounds, folks will admire you
What exercise are you doing? Its going to not only help you lose weight, it will help you tone and tighten
Drink your water as it going to flush out all the bad stuff
Don't think this diet as being hard as its not. Focus on the great foods that you can eat. .....Chicken wings, pizza without the plate (crust) ranch dressing, butter, bacon, cheese!

No, you're not going to lose 80lbs in 3 months without surgery. However, you can get a really good start, and with the toning, you'll look tons better by the time school starts. Aim for averaging 1-2lbs/week.

First piece of advice - read the book. Buy it, check it out from the library, borrow it from someone, whatever you have to do. You can *get started* by reading the articles on www.atkins.com, but you'll want to read the book soon because it explains why you do a lot of the things you do (and makes it easier to do them when they get hard).

Second piece of advice - get your family and doctor and friends on board. Lots easier with help.

Third piece of advice - hang in there. It might get rough, but it's worth it. And you can do it.

Hi there
Sorry to say that 80lbs in that short of a time is not possible- BUT dont get discouraged, Because by starting atkins now, you will just look that much better by the time school starts. you will do great on atkins, even if you slip up remeber htta its just aminor set back and that you can and will do this, i was at 262 in sept now im at 179, its around 10lbs a month, do exercise though it will only help, and make sure you understand and know what you are eating and drinking ot watch for any carb creep, youll do great,
