| Two weeks is not a lot of time to reshape your body. I can certainly understand how you would want your prom pictures to show the very best you, though, so here are some ideas. Start with Induction and stick to it cleanly. No bars, no shakes, nothing that isn't on the allowed food list. All your water. Don't try to do low fat; do Induction exactly like it calls for in the book. Start some serious toning by hitting the weights. Get some help if you've not done it before, because you can injure yourself by doing too much or doing it wrong. But having tone muscles will do more for your appearance than just dropping pounds will. (Keep in mind that muscle weighs more than fat, so you may end up gaining weight, since you don't have a lot of fat to lose). I'd go so far as to say don't weigh at all, in this case. Get some stretching in there as well, since longer muscles look leaner. Buy a body shaper. It won't produce miracles, but it might be enough extra help to make you feel fabulous in that gown. Get a tan. Real or fake, it'll make you look thinner and more polished. If you don't tan well, skip the real tan, since two weeks isn't enough time to do it properly. And don't do it improperly - people can and have died from too much. Not to mention the robster red look or the peeling shoulders effect are not what you're going for. Practice your posture. It can instantly make you look better. If you don't have a dress already, find one that flatters you now. It will only look better if you succeed. Wear appropriate jewelry that's flashy or interesting enough to draw your eye to a part of your body you're happier with. By appropriate, I mean the right size and style, but don't go too delicate or it's likely to be overlooked. You want to draw the eye up (or down, if you wear an ankle bracelet). Whatever happens, have fun at prom - you only get one. Laura
