Default back again, this is the last time

okay.

hello once again to all of you.
this is my 2 1/2 time on atkins(dont ask), and hopefully my last set of problems.

Spring formal is coming up at the end of april, and i weigh 192, and am 6 feet tall. THat might not be too bad, but its mostly fat, with some muscle, as i do lift weights. I do have man boobs, which ive had since 6th grade, and desperatly want to get rid of. I went on atkins in the summer, and hit 179 from 195, and was really happy.

Then when school started up again, i gained it back quickly, due to lack of menu options of food.

Now, I would like to lose 25 lbs, bring me to about 163-164. I have maybe a month and 3.5 weeks(round up to 2 months) to do so. I know that with this loss, i can be pretty happy with myself.

Challenges:
My mom is not fluent in english, and only knows how to cook recipes from back in the motherland(india). I have no culinary skills whatsoever, so basically will do anything you can buy in a store, readymade.

Menu Plan:
Breakfast: dont have time, school is 1hr away, bad weather, etc
Snack: String, low carb, cheese stick
Lunch: still having problems with it, dont know what to eat
Snack: String, Low Carb cheese stick
Dinner(the fun part): 1 Burger king whopper with only cheese on it, and removing the bun, a Chicken caesar salad with just the lettuce and grilled chicken.

Drinks: 2 Diet Cokes throughout the day, complemented with lots of water
Pills: 3 multivitamin tablets(instructed) throughout the day

Cardio Exercise(3 times a week) any one of these
Basketball for 30 mins or Tennis for 30 mins or Elliptical for 15 mins.

Weightlifting: 3 times a week, different body parts(know what i'm doing here)

how does that sound?
I would like your assistance in reaching my goal, seeing as some of you have made absolutely fantastic progress, and I would like to be a part of that club

Thank you all very much, and hopefully this goes as planned.
~Mike

Hey Mike! I ADORE Indian food!

I don't think you're eating nearly enough food! That looks like under 1000 calories. If you eat too little you will not lose weight because your body will think it's starving!

Go here: http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/

Do a little reading around. This will tell you how many calories you need to eat and stay the same weight if you do absolutely nothing all day! it will also tell you how many calories your body size needs to lose weight.

This is an eating plan where you are expected to eat more, minus the carbs, than normal and still be able to lose the weight!

OKay, revised menu
Breakfast: dont have time, school is 1hr away, bad weather, etc
Snack: String, low carb, cheese stick with some chicken
Lunch: still having problems with it, dont know what to eat
Snack: String, Low Carb cheese stick
Dinner(the fun part): 1 Burger king whopper with only cheese on it, and removing the bun, a Chicken caesar salad with just the lettuce and grilled chicken. an 8 piece chicken tenders

Drinks: 2 Diet Cokes throughout the day, complemented with lots of water
Pills: 3 multivitamin tablets(instructed) throughout the day

I honestly cant eat more than that. IF i did, i would get sick. I didnt get fat by eating in excess, i got fat by eating mcdonalds frenchfries at every meal. THat was my undoing, not overeating, but it was a question of WHAT i ate.

Part of the way this eating works is that you won't be hungry. That's the process working for you and the result is a decreased appetite. Still, I gotta tell you that I eat about 3 times as much as you do on any given day.

Do you cook? I always have cooked chicken legs on hand for grabbing through the day. I get the max pack, put salt/pepepr/oregano on them and bake at 400 for about 45 minutes to one hour. Do you like Tuna? You could make that with some mayo and chopped celery and bring with you to school. You could have celery with cream cheese, that's a good snack, or celery with your string cheese. Make yourself steaks and keep one to eat the next day. Hard boiled eggs? Get some pepperoni and put on paper towels and then microwave them for like a minute and a half and they get all crunchy and snacky! Just a few suggestions for you.

At any rate, you've given up the Mcdonalds frankenfood and are eating healthier. That's all good!
