| look at the reasons of why you cheated.. were you extremely hungery and couldn't resist? if thats the case, this means you should work on the timings of your meals and snacks.. if the reasons are emotional, I don't know what to say becasue its the only reason I end up cheating. I guess you should always keep in mind that even if you are feeling down or hungry, you still have the freedom and choice of choosing to stay on track or not. true sometimes things get out of hand, but as long as you know that you will keep on working on it, its fine.. best of luck

We all have little bumps in the road on this way of eating, and although it makes us feel like crap, there's a strength in us that makes us pick ourselves up, forgive ourselves, and then we move on. So you screwed up...nothing can be done now but to face forward and get on with it. Make yourself a really nice salad, get your water in, go for a walk - it really helps to clear your head, then take a nice bubble bath...in other words, be kind to yourself. |

| The cheating was not good, however, the most important things is what you do know. Do you keep cheating or do you pick yourself up, dust yourself off and immediately go back to the WOE that has helped you lose 16 lbs. We all have our moments, it's what we do after that really matters. You will be fine. |

| Hey Corrie! First of all I would like to say Welcome to the ADBB! As far as the cheat...take a deep breath...and just let it go...don't look back, just get right back on track. You obviously were doing something right and it's great that you've been exercising with your friend. The most important thing you can do for yourself is to get back on track immediately and then analyze your binge to see what triggered it. This way you can better prepare yourself for future temptations. You are doing GREAT! Keep up the good work! |

| Welcome to the board! You've had great advice. Now's the time to hop right back on the wagon. Try to understand what caused you to tumble, so you can take preventive measures another time. Remember to drink masses of water to help flush out the carbs from the binge. Exercise as much as you can. Look to the future... and that trimmer "you"! You can do it!!!

| Don't beat yourself up too bad. You recognize you made a mistake, and now you can get right back on track. NOBODY is perfect. It is better than cheating and brushing it under the rug and ignoring it. Stop cheating; get back on track; end of story!!! 16lbs is awesome, 16 more can come right off! |

| 16 pounds is FANTASTIC! You just have to go on. You are doing great so far and it is so challenging to stay on track sometimes. Try to think about why you did it - what you wanted... was it just the taste of good food, was it the freedom of being off the diet, was it something else? There are so many reasons people cheat. Think it through and try to determine what caused you to cheat and focus on the future and your goals. You can do it!!! |

| Hi Corrie, so happy you posted, even though it was about cheating. First of all, 16 pounds is really remarkable, you've done well. People have given you great advice, try to figure out what prompted the cheat and then come up with a non cheating way to handle it next time it arrises. I know, easier said than done. Keep plenty of legal foods on hand so if you feel the need to eat, go ahead and just make it legal. In the meantime, drink your water!
