| Hi Harry, Welcome to the board! Atkins is healthy, but what you are doing is not. Let's see... On induction, you should be eating three cups of veggies and most of your carbs should come from vegetables. Moreover, Atkins is not a high-protein diet, but a high-fat one... so eating only meat is not good. You should aim for 65% fat, 5% carbs, 30% protein at the end of the day, and without any source of fat other than the fat in meat, this is normally not possible. As for the green tea, it's allowed only if it is sweetened with a "legal" sweetener. Make sure it's not aspartame, that one is not allowed. Also, keep in mind that the maximum allowance of sweetener is 3 servings per day. As a rule of thumb, you should be counting 8 oz of sweetened drink as 1 serving of sweetener. Please read the book or at least the links I've posted below. You want to lose weight, but you have to do it without damaging your health. Good luck and see you around the board! The links... http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...induction.html (What are the Rules of Induction?) http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...induction.html (What foods can be eaten on Induction?) http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ood-links.html BTW, good job for exercising!
