The difference 49 lbs makes

Hi everyone,

I very rarely come by this site anymore, my family and I are always so busy in the summer months, even more so now that I'm wanting to be at the beach in a swimsuit, and actually letting people take pictures of me! (that has been over 8 years since I've allowed that!) Anyway I started Atkins on November 19th 2007 and it has changed my life. I am now down to 150 lbs, started at 199 lbs...and I am 10 lbs from my final goal. Here is a picture...don't mind the second one I am embarassed to even say that was me, but hey.... Look at me now! I think there's a new girl there.

And YA it totally makes a difference... your eyes show a gorgeous confidance. Congratulations. YOu were big and Gorgeous... now just plain gorgeous!

Well done on the great weight loss but doesn't anyone think the pose is a little inappropriate? The weight loss is fantastic, but the semi-porn pose is not what this site is about.

She is sexy and gorgeous. We are all adults here. And no, it’s not just the man talking in me. I appreciate beauty when I see it, and if she wants to be sexy and confident then who are we to object.

I am normally fine. But guys we have to remember there are some younger people on this forum. In fact there was a 14 year old asking a question not to long ago.

I would not want my son (15) pulling this up.

Just my 2 cents. Yes she is gorgeous, just not appropriate for all audiences.

I understand what you are saying. I would imagine with the Internet and cable today though there is very little a 15-year old boy or girl hasn't seen. I can't imagine anything that would shock them these days. Everything on this site is tame compared to what I have seen on even network shows like So You Think You Can Dance or American Idol.

Maybe we could add an adults only section. I am not talking nude pictures but many people take pictures in bikinis, underwear, bra and panties, swim trunks and things like that. While you can see a person has lost weight with clothes on, it is good to see a person's muscle tone, how their skin recovered and the like.

I remember all those Wieght Watcher pictures when I was in it. While I could tell someone lost weight in an after picture, they always had them dressed in dark clothes and it was hard to see how much wieght they really lost, or if they were still overwieght.
