| Hello, Ive been down the same path as you ( regarding re-gaining ) I lost around 25lbs just over a year ago and put most of it back on. I re-started in june and have lost 11lb so far. I think if you are determined to do it, then you will do it. You got there before so you know how good it feels to be at goal, we just gotta work at maintaining it! (thats the hard part!) I hope your induction goes well and you get the results you want, looking forward to reading about your progress on the board. Good Luck |

Let us know how things are going for you, I look forward to hearing updates! Sarina ------------------- Heaviest weight - 403 lbs. (2007) April 1, 2008 - 387 lbs. (This is when I initially started to lose weight…but was not on Atkins at this point) Atkins start weight – 347 lbs. (July 19, 2008 – began Atkins) 1st major goal met -----100 lbs. lost as of Oct 2, 2008 - Hit 300 lbs. on this day – From April 1-08 when I initially begin to lose weight. 2nd major goal met - 151 lbs. lost as of Jan 13, 2009 - Hit 249 lbs. on this day. 3rd major goal met - Wed, May 13-09 - Reached losing 200 lbs. in just over a year and a couple of months. 4th major goal met – Reached “Onederland” June 6-09 – 198 lbs. 5th major goal met - My 1 yr. Atkins anniversary - Weighing 184 lbs. this day Current weight – 184 lbs. Goal weight - 150 – 160 |

| Thanks all - The worst part about those pics was getting my husband to take them as i couldnt work out the timer on the camera and we dont have a mirror big enough to reflect the right parts! It felt like that Simpsons episode where Homer goes for some 'Boudiour Pics' doing and the photographer slaps a load of lard on the lens !! lol Im sure he wont mind taking the 'after' photos so much lol! | I can completely sympathise, Chelle - am going to try and dig out my motivational slim pics, my grotty old start of diet pics and some newer ones. Basically, am a typical yo-yo dieter (no more, I say!!), and in Christmas 07 was nice and toned and svelte, and about 140lbs (10st) - pretty good on my 5'8'' frame, but by the following christmas was up to 185lbs (13st 2) of pure carb bloat (face and tummy mostly - made me look about 10 years older as well, in my opinion) - Gross!! Now to put 3st on in a year, that's pretty dedicated and unhealthy! Surely I can commit equally to getting it all back off before christmas?? You look super toned in your 'before' pics - what sort of exercises were you doing?? You'll be back to slim-jim in no time at all - good luck!!
