__________________ 149/148.6/ 119 re-start day - June 23, 2009 3/13 1st goal: 139 (earlier weight) what the rungs mean to me: rung 1 - more veggies rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee) rung 3 - seeds, nuts rung 4 - berries, melon rung 5 - wine - gotta really re-think this rung rung 6 - beans, hummus (stay until 133) rung 7 - other fruits (stay until 131) rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not) rung 9 - whole grains (oatmeal) Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range (on to pre-maintenance) http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ramblings.html |

| Wow! What great progress! And, to think you did it all without being a slave to the scale. So many people get frustrated if the evil scale doesn't go down, even if their pants fall down around their knees. It defies reason that you hold a number on a machine (which no one sees) more dear than how you look in your clothes. Congratulations! You look great!

I look forward to getting to know you better and hearing about how your maintenance is going. I read that you are planning to start a new thread regarding how to stay at the weight you're presently at and stop losing is that correct? Good for you...I look forward to reading that thread. Be sure to explain where you're at presently on the rungs...that sort of thing so we know where you are in the process. Again, congratulations to you....you should be very proud of what you've achieved! Talk with you soon! Sarina ------------------- Heaviest weight - 403 lbs. (2007) April 1, 2008 - 387 lbs. (This is when I initially started to lose weight…but was not on Atkins at this point) Atkins start weight – 347 lbs. (July 19, 2008 – began Atkins) 1st major goal met -----100 lbs. lost as of Oct 2, 2008 - Hit 300 lbs. on this day – From April 1-08 when I initially begin to lose weight. 2nd major goal met - 151 lbs. lost as of Jan 13, 2009 - Hit 249 lbs. on this day. 3rd major goal met - Wed, May 13-09 - Reached losing 200 lbs. in just over a year and a couple of months. 4th major goal met – Reached “Onederland” June 6-09 – 198 lbs. 5th major goal met - My 1 yr. Atkins anniversary - Weighing 184 lbs. this day Current weight – 183 lbs. Goal weight - 150 – 160 |
