Day 18 - back up that pound I was down yesterday, think it was eating some nuts that did it, I must not be ready for them yet.

Heading to France today, no idea if I will be able to stay on diet with all the travelling but will try. Back Sat.

Day 17 has started well as I'm down another pound. So that's nine pounds in 17 days. Under serious pressure at work, it's not helping the diet. That's all today as am working furiously.

Day 16 and no weight change. That's fine though. I have upped my intake of veg slightly so that's probably what's doing it.

Bit worried as have to go to France for a funeral for three days on Thursday. Have no idea how I'm going to cope with eating. Will be hanging around the airport a lot and can't bring food with me. Plus they don't cook their meat very well there and I personally like mine burnt! And they eat an awful lot of cheese which I'm allergic to. Plus funerals make me want...

Hey so it's Day 15 and I'm very proud to say I survived the weekend at home. I even managed to get through going to my mother-in-laws house without serious damage. My own home was very difficult as there were so many good things to eat and chocolate everywhere but I stayed strong and just got on with it.

Somewhat surprisingly I didn't drink either. I had promised myself a gin and slimline tonic but I felt if I had one my willpower might go down the drain.

So it's Day 12 and I'm happy to report that I won't be complaining today for a change. Thanks for all the encouragement from people on here. I didn't blog yesterday cause I was still a bit unsure whether I would stick at it but I did and I'm now 6lbs down so that's another pound. It's slow but I will take it at this stage.
