Slowly but surely the weight is coming off

Last week it was so hard for me to stay on Atkins, like I should have, I was scared to step on the scale. But when I did I was glad to see the numbers have moved and I have now lost 22 lbs!

I know I went over my carb count several times, but my exercise must have made up for the difference. I have been back on plan the last few days and feel great.

This is my second time on Atkins and the weight is coming off, but at a much slower pace that the time before. I attribute...

Yikes - the dreaded plateau!

I haven't lost any weight for 8 days. I know it is nothing to worry about, but there is nothing worse than the dreaded plateau. So it is more exercise this week, and making sure I get enough water, sometimes I just think I am getting enough, so I put a container with 64 oz of water on my counter and it needs to be gone by 6:00 this evening. If I drink too much later than that I have to get up in the middle of the night.

I also measured myself and I am happy with the inches that I have...

Slow week....

Tomorrow is a weigh in day and I have felt bloated all week and I feel like I am retaining water. So who knows what the numbers are going to be. Regardless, I am looking at a gym membership tomorrow, the Minnesota cold keeps me from my walks, I am just not as hardy as I used to be.

I like lifting weights at home, but I think it will do me good to get out of the house and do some exercises on the machines.

Been re-reading the Atkins books for tips that I had forgotten...

Yeah - Down 16 lbs

Today was marked as a weigh in day and I was so excited to see 16 lbs gone!

Also measured myself and using the 7 points of measurement I picked I have lost about 8 inches. And I can feel it in my jeans!

Excited that I have not had a diet pepsi in 4 days. That is tough but I feel better when it is out of my system. I gonna keep on walking!!!!

Miss My Exercise

A little upset with myself for not getting in my exercise like a should. I wish I could get up early and just get it done with for the day, but I am not a morning person.

It dosen't help that is it starting to get chilly here in Minnesota and darker out early and I don't care to walk in the dark.

Next weigh in is on Saturday. Just trying to weigh one or two times a week and not making it a focus.
