Hi,
Welcome to my blog.
I have a unique approach to Atkins, Low Glycemic Carb WOL. It's MINE, I own it.
In fact, I've been around the Mountain a few times trying to get it right, do it perfect and admire those who have.
The first time I did Induction I lasted 7 days, then grabbed tacos like a hungry bear and growled at anyone reminding me of my Plan.
There is more to life than being trim or looking decent in your clothes. I tried to live in that mindset for a while but it didn't work, either.
So, I have blended the craziness into a workable plan for me.....ME. Yes, I am the one who is dealing with this. YOU are dealing with YOUR battle. If it's OK with you, I'll learn from you and encourage you to hang in there. I will share with you. But I will NOT berate you for eating a protein bar for breakfast or a shake to stay on plan. After all, this is YOUR deal, right?
I'd appreciate the same treatment. Helps to remember we are both on the same journey.
YOU may be taking the HARE route and doing induction, I am taking the Turtle route and NOT doing induction.
It's MY deal.

I agree. If it works for you then its your diet. You can mesh 10 different diets together as long as they work and you can stay with it. Any diet any where will work if you follow it perfectly and stay on it the key is finding the combination that you can actually se yourself doing longterm. Once you find the diet that you know you can live with instead of doing it until you just can't take it anymore well thats the one to follow.
