Not happy with the scale differences

I know since I use the same scale from week to week that I am able to keep up with my actual "loss" of weight but seeing as I had to have the paramed insurance nurse come out I figured I would get the low down on what my actual weight was!
Hers weighed me 8 lbs heavier! Then today at Target I weighed on 2 other, (one digital, one dial). On those I weighed even more!!!!
So, humph! I'm disappointed that I might no weigh what my home scales are saying.
I have tried calibrating them with my hand weights but I don't know if there is a certain weight above those where the dang things start going screwy!

Don't be discourage - weight is only a number and the scale is only a tool of measurement. Pick a scale to use and stay with that one for recording your weight. And don't forget to use a measuring tape. It is a great way to keep track of your shrinking body.Posted November 20th, 2008 at 12:20 PM by ceemarie
