Okay, I'm not quiting. I've thought about it a couple days now and I am not leaving the boards because a few excited atkiners disagreed with me.
I have my opinion and they have theirs. Period!
So here I go again.


I was feeling pretty good this morning so I measured my waist. I have lost almost four inches. I was so excited that I am wearing an outfit I haven't worn since Easter. The reason I haven't worn it is when I saw a picture of me in it I didn't even recognize...

I think my post about splenda not being the all wonderful thing is it touted to be brought on a lot of hard feelings to some.

I am obviously NOT as big a fan of atkins as the others on here. So I'm out.

Another week

Here I go again starting another week of not weighing every day. It really wasn't so hard last week (the not weighing in). It was the disappointment of only 2 lbs lost that kicked me in the gut.

I think I will drop the weights as part of my workout for this week and see if that makes a difference.

I was really hoping to have reached at least 20 lbs lost by now. :-( But I suppose 18 isn't too bad.

I am happy that my blood pressure has dropped. At least...

Time to weigh

I am a bit worried to see the actual number on the scale tomorrow morning. I always weigh first thing before eating or drinking anything but after the morning bathroom visit.
I haven't been feeling like I've lost anything almost this whole time so I have upped my steps back to 10,000 and I do more of the stabilizer ball and some light weights. I am sure that the weights won't cause that muscle gain....I think I'm sure.

Anyway, tomorrow is the big day! Boy it was hard the earlier...

Another birthday cake!

Well, today I make my 2nd birthday cake this week. Hubby's b-day today.
If I worked in a bakery I would be in SOOOOO much trouble!

I woke up with a horrible back ache this morning (slept on my tummy). So the treadmill was slow going and painful. I only did 3500 steps. I'll do the rest later today.

I don't feel like I am losing anything. My sticks are saying I am still in ketosis but I feel bloaty and blah. I am almost afraid to weigh in on Saturday. I sure...
