It has been quite a while since I've posted to my blog. I had hit a stall for the last three weeks "holidays". At least I didn't gain! But I was ready to see some weightloss again. So this week I have started really cutting the carbs and maintaining my workouts. I have already lost 6 more pounds according to the scales this morning. Yeah! That is 56 total on Atkins and 64 total since going low carb.

I have been trying to train to be able to run a 5K without dying. Yesterday...

LOL Okay the title is referring to the fact that although I went over my self appointed (aka inflicted) carb limit of 25 a day, I only went over a bit and ONLY with carb friendly stuff. I didn't once eat the "regular" stuff and I am the one that had to make it all!
I'll tell that was a true test of my will power!
I made cakes, cookies, haystacks, choco covered peanuts, date nut balls, and peanut butter fudge (thank GOD for the carb friendly PBfudge recipe!).

I know since I use the same scale from week to week that I am able to keep up with my actual "loss" of weight but seeing as I had to have the paramed insurance nurse come out I figured I would get the low down on what my actual weight was!
Hers weighed me 8 lbs heavier! Then today at Target I weighed on 2 other, (one digital, one dial). On those I weighed even more!!!!

So, humph! I'm disappointed that I might no weigh what my home scales are saying.

I made my first goal! Forty pounds lost as of yesterday! So happy with my progress.

I have set a new goal of 10 more pounds but might set a new one when that one is met. I feel great at this size but can now see an even better size on the horizon!

I am still on rung four and don't plan to move up any time soon. I am still staying around 30 carbs a day but most days under that. I will move up another 5 carbs soon I suppose to help make my menu a bit more interesting....

Well, as of today I have only 2 more pounds to lose to reach the goal I set for myself back on August 27th.

I am 38 pounds down now! Plus a couple months before starting Atkins I lost 8 pounds just reducing carbs and snacking. So holy cow, that's 46 pounds!!!!!!

I think I will set a new goal for myself because I'd like to lose a quite a bit more around my waist. I still carry a pretty good sized pooch that flops down (4 c-sections) that doesn't look good in jeans. LOL...
