I got a workout video last night that has the resistance band, wraps around your waist with two bands and handles... it's about a 50 minute video, I got through 1/2 of it.

I figured I wouldn't be able to make it through the whole thing, my main source of exercise has been to walk once a month, ha ha. But, I did make it through 1/2 of it and will work on getting more and more through it. I also walked 1/2 an hour last night, 1.25 miles. (I'm a slow walker on pavement).

Oh, I hit a bump yesterday, well, technically 2 days ago but I'm on a weird schedule so it's still yesterday to me... sigh. No food in the house other than nasty old carb-o-riffic stuff. Husband took rest of cash out of the bank to buy a new toy that I had set aside for groceries that I needed.

Anyway, stepped on the scale this morning (which was actually yesterday morning as it's now 3:46 in the morning and I'm 2 hours from calling it a night)- and low and behold, a 4 pound gain......

Well, thankfully I dropped that gained pound plus 2... on Day 3 of induction, no carb cravings as of yet, doing good there. Still plenty of water going down my throat so that's all good.

Been trying to make sure I'm getting enough vegetables in while keeping cheese count down, have a real issue with cheese, i love it love it love it. but that's okay, I'm doing all right so far.

This week I plan to start exercising, not sure what all I plan to do yet but it will be starting...

Day two of my induction- was slightly disheartened to see a 1-pound weight gain on the scale but I'm ignoring it.

I've had one **** of a lot of water, just because I'm thirsty like mad and while drinking water can help flush you out, an over-abundance of water can overload the water cells. Plus, well, change of diet this hard means I'm sure I won't be that regular, was reading up on flax usage and stuff for during induction.

I'm going to hold off judgement for at least...
