100th time around

I have to say, that losing weight is like quitting smoking.
I must have quit 100 times before I just had had enough. I'm there again with my weight, I've had enough and I'm tired of letting excuses get me back into my old eating habits. This time I've got support from my husband and it has been great, he's on it with me.
We just moved into our new house back in March and can't find the scale so he used the one at Publix to weigh himself. He suggested I use it to, but I'm still self-conscience about it so I'm gaging with my clothes until we either get a new scale or find ours. I'm voting for a new scale.
My doctor should be impressed though. Last time I saw her was for my physical results and she said I'm healthy as an ox, so I asked why then I looked like one too. She suggested I go on this calorie restricted diet. Uh... no. So I chose this, haven't told her yet but as I have to see in a month to check my progress - i'll let her know then and I will get my weight results then. I was thinking that I might just use her scale to get my weight. I could pop-in once a month and just hop on so that I have a constant and calibrated chart.
This is longer than I intended it to be. If there happens to be any readers, please understand I am not a constant or scheduled blogger I do so when the feeling strikes and right now I've got tons of blogs that I've been consolidating. However, I do find it convenient to have a blog here than having one outside the walls of this bulletin board.
Time to eat breakfast!!
