Well, I am now approaching "onderland" on my Atkins journey. I have 10.1 lbs to go before my weight officially begins with a one! I have not seen that event in MANY years. It almost seems surreal to me because I have only been following this WOE for 96 days (just a little over 3 months). I am both excited and anxious. Well, tomorrow will mark day 90 for my Atkins journey; three months of non-cheating low-carb eating. I have to say that I never thought I would feel this good in such a short amount of time. In these 3 months I have been able to lose 36.2 lbs and 21.75 inches. People that haven't seen me in a while are stunned when they see me because the transformation so far is that dramtic. I am so thankful to have found this WOE. To me, it is the easiet, most beneficial eating plan I have ever tried....

I LOVE a good yard sale. In fact, I spend most Saturday mornings in pursuit of excellent deals at yard sales in my area. However, I have come to appreciate them much more in the last week or two. I recently HAD to buy some new clothes because my old clothes were either worn to shreds or getting too loose from doing Atkins. I really had an "ah-ha" moment this morning as I was shopping for dog food at my local Petco. Now, I know that having a revelation about weight loss in the pet store seems a bit strange but this is what happened. I walked back to the shelf for our usual bag of dog food, picked it up, carried it around the store and out to my truck. I just want to post a few things that I have been able to enjoy since starting Atkins and having already lost 21.2 pounds in 45 days.

I can now walk without getting out-of-breath, I can tie my shoes easier and I can now enjoy an expanded choice in clothes from the "skinnier" side of my closet. What, doesn't eveyone have one of those?
